We stop curbside along the highway in front of the City public restroom facilities and bus stop. Reservations are required as we only stop at this point when a customer is booked to get on or off.
The Village of Clinton is located 39 km north of the Trans Canada Highway #1 and Cariboo Highway #97 junction at Cache Creek and sits at an elevation of 887 meters. This active community of 650 residents, with its colorful history of over 150 years and unique western atmosphere, was founded as a direct result of the "boom" of the Cariboo Gold Rush. Incorporated in 1963, Clinton boasts hosting one of British Columbia's oldest continuously running events; the Clinton Annual Ball, now held in May of each year. As a midway point between Vancouver and Prince George, Clinton serves as a centre providing amenities to both its residents and visitors.
