We stop in front of the building. Reservations are required as we only stop at this point when a customer is booked to get on or off.
Hixon is a small community in the Cariboo area of the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast region of BC, that has a rich heritage in gold mining and forestry. Hixon Falls are tucked in behind the tiny town along a narrow path. Pack a lunch and sit by the water’s edge, wander along the shoreline, or simply enjoy the splendour of the falls. Nearby Quesnel River is a popular fishing area and has Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout, and Spring Salmon – all of which can reach up to 30 lbs during the summer. With the major city of Prince George only a short distance away, visitors have access to an abundance of attractions and activities. Hiking is a popular choice, from day excursions to backcountry backpacking to horseback tours.
